Allyson Oury earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Allyson Oury, with Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund, has recently earned the designation of CPA – Certified Public Accountant. Oury passed a four part exam that tested her knowledge in Accounting and Attestation, Business Environment and Concepts, Financial Accounting and Reporting, and Regulation.

Crist appoints Nathan Botts to Bay Bridge Authority | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal

Gov. Charlie Crist announced two appointments to the Santa Rosa Bay Bridge Authority — which governs the Garcon Point Bridge — on Wednesday:

Ira Mae Bruce, 69, of Navarre, owner of Century 21 Island View Realty, succeeding Pamela Langham.

Nathan O. Botts, 67, of Milton, certified public accountant with Saltmarsh, Cleveland and Gund, succeeding Elaine Willis.

Both of their terms began on Wednesday and run through Jan. 3, 2014.

New Employee - Andrew Kent

Last week Andrew Kent joined the Pensacola office as a Litigation and Valuations Consultant.

Andrew received a dual degree from FSU, receiving his Bachelors of Arts in History and International Affairs. He then moved on to University of Florida, where he received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Andrew worked two separate times for the law offices of Beggs & Lane, LLP. While there, his practice focused primarily on commercial real estate development & lending, and general business, including commercial litigation, bankruptcy and contract law. Andrew also worked as a manager for a family-owned business and recently has worked for himself as a small business consultant & appraiser.

Andrew is a member of The Florida Bar and The Alabama Bar. He is also a Certified Business Appraiser, Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser, and a Licensed Florida Real Estate Salesperson.

Baby Ian arrived yesterday at 4:43 p.m. He weighs 8lbs 14oz and is 21 inches long. Mary and Ian are doing great.
